Everybody Reads 2006
Enjoy a mix of Middle East and Mediterranean sounds with Americanistan. This Eugene-based band features a variety of ethnic instruments such as the oud, kanun, harmonium and ney flute. Dynamic vocals in several languages soar above the rhythms of the dumbek, tambourine, and frame drum to create the exotic and lovely, traditional Middle Eastern music.
