November marks National Adoption Awareness Month. The 5th annual Adoption Fair will feature nearly 20 agencies. Learn what steps are needed to become an adoptive parent in Oregon and SW Washington. Meet local adoption agencies and find answers to questions such as: Is adoption right for me? Where do I start? How much does it cost? How long does it take?

BACKGROUND ON ADOPTION: It’s believed 60% of the American population is impacted by adoption—directly or indirectly…It’s estimated between 125,000 & 150,000 children are adopted in the U.S. each year and that more than six million adoptees live in the U.S. at this time. (Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute for research).
According to national stats, an estimated 360,000 people in Portland are impacted by adoption—directly or indirectly.
