6th Annual Deconstructing Disabilities Conference

Light Motion Dance Company is coming to Portland!

Light Motion is an integrated dance company. Established in 1988, principle
dancers, Charlene Curtis and JoAnne Petroff joined together to form an
internationally acclaimed dance team. Emphasizing "Front End Control", they
use the wheelchair in a creatively refreshing and exciting way in their
choreography.

This year's theme is Deconstructing the Social Construction of Disability

Through Dance. Included in this day will be a master class, a lecture, and
various panel discussions on disability culture, inclusive dance, and the
power of dance to deconstruct the social construction of disability.

Where: Smith Memorial Student Union, 3rd Floor Ballroom (1825 SW Broadway)

When: Thursday, November 10th from 10:00 to 5:00pm
