Last year, Kaibigan created the Kaibigan: Filipino American Student Association Scholarship through the PSU Foundation and awarded two of its first scholarship recipients. Da Kaibigan Showkase is one of the main events produced and presented by Kaibigan in order to raise funds for its scholarship program. The program hopes to recognize the outstanding volunteer work, extra-curricular activities and academic achievement of deserving Filipino American students.
