The Center for Academic Excellence at Portland State University and the Carnegie Conversation Series present:

The 2008 Civic Engagement Awards

Keynote Speaker: Thomas Ehrlich, Senior Scholar, the Carnegie Foundation, will help celebrate excellence in civic engagement by serving as the keynote speaker at this event.

Awards will be presented to recipients by President Reardon and Provost Koch at the eighth annual celebration on:
  • Excellence in Community-based Teaching and Learning
  • Excellence in Departmental Civic Engagement
  • Excellence in Partnerships for Student Learning
  • Excellence in Community-based Research


When: Thursday, May 29th, 2008
Where: Smith Memorial Student Union, room 228
Time: 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
