Salmon Bake in the Park Blocks
The UISHE Salmon Bake is a yearly fundraiser - with a
portion of this years proceeds going towards a fund set up to assist in the
recovery efforts for Gailen Espirito, James Peter Jr. and Rommel Strom; three Yakama fishermen lost
recently to the Columbia River.
Prepared by Native Americans in the ancient way of our ancestors
When: Wednesday, May 28th, 2008
Where: Portland State University Park Blocks (Between the Smith building and the Library)
Time: 11:30 am - 2:00 pm
Cost: $8 a plate and includes a raffle ticket to win Original Salmon Artworks by Toma Villa
