College students face tremendous pressures in today's college and university environments. Resilience, the ability to adapt well to stress and adversity, is an important quality students can learn and develop. Come learn from Dr. Marcy Hunt and Dr. Will Meek, two University Counseling Center Directors, how to grow your own capacity for resilience and how to promote it in others! Refreshments and goodies provided. Attend the presentation and you will learn:
- The definition of resilience and its relationship to mental health wellness
- Ways to build resilience for yourself and others
- How to cultivate a campus community that supports resilience and mental health wellness
