EES PhD Program

In Fall 2012, the name of the School of the Environment PhD program transitioned from "Environmental Sciences and Resources" to "Earth, Environment, & Society."
The EES PhD program is an interdisciplinary program between Geology, Geography, and Environmental Sciences & Management. Students typically have on area of concentration but take classes from these three departments as well as other departments as appropriate.
This program is a cooperative effort of all of the units within the school in collaboration with affiliated faculty from other units in the university. One of its major strengths is to be able to draw from the wide range of expertise represented by the over 150 faculty and staff in the School. See the full PhD Guidelines for the School of the Environment EES PhD.
