Conservation Ecology & Biology

This research group catalyzes research on conservation and ecology by hosting seminars and graduate journal clubs, posting information on other relevant seminars and activities, and by producing collaborative proposals. Current research in the group is diverse and ranges from research on conservation ecology of protected areas and of forests, the ecology and management of invasive species, restoration of aquatic areas, effects of climate change, forest conservation and ecology, to land-sea connectivity.

This group aims to conduct multidisciplinary research on and find effective, workable solutions to ecological impacts from urbanization; from roads and other sources of fragmentation; and from climate change, thereby helping the conservation of biodiversity locally to internationally.
