PACE Graduate Certificates
Welcome
The PACE program offers three graduate certificates, one in Teaching Adult Learners, a second in Student Affairs in Higher Education, and a third in Service-Learning in Higher Education. While each certificate offers a unique curriculum (click on the links above to learn more), they share the PACE guiding principles, learning outcomes, and faculty.
Graduate certificate schedule
To accommodate working professionals, courses in two of the certificates are offered on four Saturdays per term with instruction supplemented with on-line learning. Courses in the Teaching Adult Learners certificate are also offered one night a week, Monday through Thursday, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. or 6:40 to 9:20 p.m. Most summer courses are offered during the day-time hours. The Service-Learning in Higher Education certificate is offered totally online.
Note: Because ELP 525, 526, and 527 are offered fall, winter, and spring terms, respectively, it will take a minimum of one academic year to complete the Graduate Certificate in Student Affairs in Higher Education.
Graduate certificate program costs
Tuition and fees vary according to the number of hours you take each term. For current costs, consult the PSU Bulletin or www.pdx.edu/admissions.
