Sara joined the ELI staff in 2007 to administer human resources, budget, and contract work for the Institute. Prior to coming to PSU, she worked for the City of Portland in the Diversity Development/Affirmative Action Office for five years. She received her B.A. in International Affairs and Hispanic Studies from Lewis & Clark College, spending her junior year living with host families in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and in Cuenca, Ecuador. Sara will complete her M.A. in Education: Postsecondary, Adult and Continuing Education from PSU in winter 2010. Her area of specialization is in Training & Development. Her other interests include gardening, serving as a mediator for the Beaverton Dispute Resolution Center, and as a reader in the Start Making A Reader Today (S.M.A.R.T.) program.
