Metropolitan Instructional Support Lab (MISL)
The MISL serves as an instructional support facility for the Graduate School of Education at Portland State University. Our resources include computer labs, classroom space, curriculum collection, video and journal collections, audio-visual equipment check-out and support, and media production equipment and materials.
MISL services and resources are for use by students, staff, and faculty in the Graduate School of Education. We also welcome educators from throughout the metropolitan region, and other members of our PSU community. The lab is located in the Graduate School of Education (615 SW Harrison), room 310.

WE ARE MOVING!
On Friday, June 12, after over 25 years at this location, the MISL will close its doors. We will be moving temporarily, along with the rest of the Graduate School of Education (GSE) to the Fourth Avenue Building (FAB) at 4th and Harrison Streets. Once we get settled in (hopefully, by July 1), we will reopen as the GSE's Curriculum and Technology Services (CATS). Our facility will be housed in two rooms:
- Dr. Joyce Petrie Memorial Technology Center (room 270) will provide both classroom and computer lab space
- GSE Curriculum and AV Library will house our curriculum and Spalding Reference collections, as well as AV equipment checkouts
We look forward to continuing to serve you as the GSE's CATS Team in our new temporary location. Stay tuned for an updated web site and additional information about our temporary facility and services.
