Meet Lynda

Lynda Pullen is an admissions advisor and program support for several programs in the Graduate School of Education including the Graduate Teacher Education Program (GTEP), the International Teacher Education Program (ITEP), and the Bilingual Teacher Pathway Program (BTP). As admissions advisor, Lynda is available to help you navigate every step of the application process from general program information to application submission.

Lynda speaks Spanish fluently and has many years working with international, immigrant, and first generation students as an ESL teacher and through her work in the BTP and ITEP programs. She understands the details and challenges all students face when applying to a teaching program and a university, and specializes in international and English Language Learners who may need additional help and support.

Meet Carlos

Carlos Quatela brings a blend of college and K-12 admissions advising experience to the GSE. He has worked with various academic and student affairs departments in providing college access programming and events. He also has experience in relationship/partnership programming with local and international nonprofits, and various public and private K-12 schools. His multicultural background and international recruiting experience have aided him in his advising of diverse students with degree program selection, transfer credit pre-evaluations, and curriculum and co-curricular opportunities.

As a GSE admissions advisor, Carlos assists prospective graduate students with program selection and the application process. He provides information for the Department of Special Education initial licensure programs. He holds information sessions weekly and is available for one-on-one advising by appointment.
