When the Office of Field Placement makes a request on your behalf, it is sent to the district of school (depending on district protocol), which includes a copy of the resume you have submitted electronically. Once the request reaches the school, the building principal seeks an interested teacher/s who will serve as your cooperating teacher/s. The principal then relays the information back to our office directly, or through his/her respective district. As soon as the office of Field Placement receives placement information, we will notify you. Until you receive official confirmation from our office, please know that we are diligently working on securing your placement. After you have completed the Student Teaching Application, submitted a signed Declaration of Placement and an electronic resume, and complied with the above mentioned requirements, no further action is required on your part.
