Equipment Information
All of the classrooms in the GSE are now technology capable with a projector, speakers, and technology system installed.

You may schedule equipment by phone (503-725-4607) or in person (Graduate School of Education, 615 SW Harrison, Rm 310).
Critical information (in addition to your name):
- What type of equipment do you need?
- Which classroom will you be using it in?
- When will you be picking it up?
- When will you be returning it?
The lab is open until 9:30pm Monday through Thursday, 4:30pm on Friday, and 4pm on Saturday during the academic year (see the MISL homepage for current hours). If your class ends after those hours, please let lab staff know where you will lock it until the next working day. VCRs are available for use in the School of Education building only. If you need one in another building on campus, you need to make arrangements with the IDSC (503-725-9100). Other equipment can be used outside the building as long as it is protected from the weather. Equipment available:
- VCR or DVD player
- Cassette recorder or transcriber
- Carousel slide projector
- Video camcorder (analog or digital)
- Overhead projector
- Microphone
- Opaque (art) projector
- CD player (boombox)
- Computer projector (LCD)
- Laptop computer
- Digital camera
- Document camera
In general, equipment is loaned out for a maximum of 48 hours at a time. Borrowers are responsible for returning equipment on time and paying for replacement or repair if equipment is stolen or returned damaged. Individuals who need an exception to the 48-hour time limit need to speak with the lab director.
