Program Philosophy

We provide a learning environment where knowledge is continually created through individual and collective effort. The program seeks to balance concept acquisition, critical reflection, engagement with social justice and skill development within a supportive and challenging educational framework. This perspective is derived directly from our Graduate School of Education Guiding Principles and the Doctoral Program's educational beliefs. Our philosophy reflects our core and specialization coursework and is demonstrated in a cohort learning environment.
