Being part of a learning community with other students in a cohort experience has provided opportunities to examine many leadership and social justice issues from a variety of perspectives. In addition to the engaging dialogue within the cohort, the faculty has provided feedback (both structural and content) on my academic writing. Through the doctoral program experience I am becoming more adept at crafting arguments to support my positions and improving my written and verbal communication skills.
