Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) - Classes, Exams, and Dissertation
The Ed.D. program contains three major phases: coursework, comprehensive exams (papers), and dissertation research.
A minimum of 72 hours of approved program credits; successful completion of a core comprehensive exam (paper); and dissertation research, writing, and defense embody the requirements of the program. After admission to the doctoral program, a minimum of 72 credits must be completed at PSU. No 800-level course are allowed (including courses numbered 808).
