Application deadlines vary by program as follows (when in doubt, check specific program web pages):
Graduate Teacher Education Program (GTEP)
- All cohorts start in summer term
- The application deadline is December 01 prior to each start date (This is a change effective for the Summer 2009 start date)
Special Education Programs (SPED)
The following Special Education programs admit once per year. The application deadline is March 1. The classes begin summer term.
- Elementary Special Education Initial License
- Secondary Special Education Initial License
- Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education Initial License
- Visually Impaired Learner Initial License
The following Special Education program admits once per year. The application deadline is September 1. The classes begin winter term.
The following programs are "open admit," meaning a student can apply any term. However, the processing for admission will take 4-6 weeks.
The following program admits every other year (odd numbered years). The application deadline is April 1. The classes begin in fall.
Counselor Education Program (COUN)
The Counselor Education program admits students once a year to begin fall term. All application materials MUST be received by February 1.
