Internships in the Oregon Legislature
Several members of the Oregon legislature are looking for interns. If you are interested in interning in the legislature, please contact Richard Clucas at hprc@pdx.edu. Working in the legislature is a great opportunity to learn about Oregon politics and to work closely with state leaders. Because the state provides little staff support for legislators, student interns are often able to play an important role in a state legislator's office. The internship is also a lot of fun for the large group of students we send to Salem. Course credit is available.
