Student Travel Award
The Department of Economics is happy to support students traveling to conferences and/or workshops intended to enhance their educational experience. Awards are made on a competitive basis and limited to $500 annually.
To apply for a travel award, please fill out and submit the Department travel award application. Please be sure to include all required supporting documents with your application.
Required Supporting Documents:
- Name of conference/workshop you are attending;
- Title and abstract of paper/project you are presenting along with a hard copy of the paper/project. If attendance is not associated with presentation of own (or co-authored) work, provide a 500 word essay discussing how you expect attendance to enhance your educational objectives;
- Budget – include an itemized list of expenses and specify the amount you are requesting support for;
