Graduate Program

The MS/MA program in Economics provides students with core analytical skills in micro and macro economics, background in economic history, as well as specialized knowledge of applied economics in students' areas of interest through elective courses.

Please note: The Graduate admissions process will be changing on September 1st. Starting on that date, graduate applicants will only have to submit one application to the University. For more information, please see the Office of Graduate Studies' website.

The strong econometrics focus of the required curriculum trains students in the quantitative skills necessary for the analysis of economic data. The Graduate Certificate in Environmental and Resource Economics is a strength of our Masters program. Our graduates work in private and non-governmental organizations as well as in government agencies. Some students pursue doctoral programs in economics and other disciplines.
