The MA/MS program in Economics provides students with core analytical skills in micro and macro economics, background in economic history, as well as specialized knowledge of applied economics in students' areas of interest through elective courses. The econometrics portion of the required curriculum trains students in the quantitative skills necessary for the analysis of economic data. The Graduate Certificate in Environmental and Resource Economics is a key strength of our masters' program. Our graduates work in private and non-governmental organizations as well as in government agencies; some join doctoral programs for further study in economics and other disciplines.
