How to Apply
If you are a transfer student, you must first apply directly to the Portland State University Admissions Department. Students interested in pursuing a major in either Electrical or Computer Engineering must apply to the department after their sophomore year in order to be able to take upper division (300 and 400-level) courses. The Fall application is available through the link, below, and all applicants must complete the Admissions Exam by the April 15 deadline. Please see ECE Admission Requirements.
Students who are registered through the Disability Resource Center and are needing special accommodations for the exam should contact the ECE Department right away so that arrangements can be made well before the application/exam deadline.
Students who have been admitted to the program will be informed via e-mail and must reply to inform the department whether or not they accept their enrollment.
