Financial Aid

Whether you pay for your education out of pocket, work part-time during your academic program, use student loans, or obtain a scholarship, an Electrical or Computer Engineering degree is one of the best investments you can make. As a state university we are able to deliver high-quality educational programs that prepare students for successful careers at a lower cost per degree than most other programs.

Undergraduate Students

MCECS offers scholarships and fellowships to undergraduate students.

Graduate Teaching Assistantships

Applications for Teaching Assistantships open for a short application period each term. All current students are notified by email when applications open.

Faculty will contact the applicants to select the Teaching Assistants. If you have not been selected, you will receive an email from the department after the term starts.

Graduate Research Assistantships

Research Assistantships (RAs) are awarded to outstanding students who are excelling in their field. RA positions are hired directly by the faculty member performing the research. If you have a strong background in your field of interest, contact the faculty memember you would like to work with. Most faculty will hire students who have successfully performed other research projects. Information about our research programs can be found here.
