Electronics Prototyping Lab

Overview

The Electronics Prototyping Lab (EPL) is the one-stop solution for rapidly prototyping an electronic project. Students using this lab can lay out a schematic and route a new printed circuit board, solder through-hole and surface mounted components to the board, test the circuits, use a laser cutter to produce an enclosure with engraved lettering, and assemble everything into a finished product. If a custom mechanical part is needed, a 3D FDM printer is available to fabricate the piece in-house. The lab holds a wide variety of hand tools and power tools to make easy work of most any construction project.
