You are cordially invited to attend the seventh annual Capstone Poster Competition sponsored by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Portland State University.
ECE students are excited to display their posters, demonstrate their projects, and talk about their senior capstone experience Friday, June 5th from 2:00 to 5:00pm in the Intel Gordon/Betty Moore Atrium in the Northwest Center of Engineering, Science, and Technology located at 1930 SW Fourth Avenue, Portland, OR 97201.
Teams will be demonstrating projects solving problems from areas such as renewal power/energy systems, underwater acoustic measurement, and bike sharing to microwaves, app development, and 3D metal printing.
All ECE seniors work on year-long team-based design projects sponsored by community partners such as local high technology companies, utilities, government agencies, and non-profit agencies. This special event is an opportunity to showcase the results of their projects, demonstrate the variety of projects undertaken, and introduce people to PSU's nationally recognized capstone program. Come and take a look at what they've done, learn about sponsoring a capstone project, or find out more about engineering education at PSU.
The Northwest Center of Engineering, Science, and Technology (also known as the Engineering Building or EB) is easily accessible via bus, MAX, and streetcar. In addition, parking is available in the lot underneath the building. We are located in section H-10 on the PSU map.
I hope to see you there.
