A. Patrick Charnon Memorial Scholarship
-- Successful candidates are awarded the scholarship who demonstrates tolerance, compassion, and respect through their actions in their respective communities.
A.W Bodine-Sunkist Memorial Scholarship
-- The Bodine-Sunkist scholarship honors the memory of Sunkist board vice chairman Arthur W. Bodine. Purpose is to provide funds for undergraduate students from agricultural backgrounds who are in need of financial assistance to further their education.
-- The John L. Carey Scholarship was established by members of the accounting profession to honor John Carey upon his retirement from AICPA in 1969. During his 40-year tenure at the AICPA, he served as administrative vice president, executive director, and as a editor and publish of the Journal of Accountancy. Mr. Carey spent his entire career serving the accounting profession and made it a priority to encourage outstanding students to become CPA’s.
American Chemical Society Scholars Program
-- The goal of this scholarship program is to aid in building awareness and the rewards associated with careers in science and to assist students in acquiring the skills and credentials needed for success in these areas.
American Indian Regional Scholarship
-- BPA is a not-for-profit federal electric utility that markets more than a third of the electricity consumed in the Pacific Northwest. The power is produced at 31 federal dams and one nuclear plant in the Northwest and is sold to more than 140 Northwest utilities, including 3 Tribal utilities. BPA also operates a high-voltage transmission grid comprising more than 15,000 miles of lines and associated substations in Washington, Oregon, and Montana.
American Water Works Association Scholarship
-- Founded in 1886, American Water is the largest investor-owned U.S. water and wastewater utility company. With headquarters in Voorhees, N.J., the company employs more than 7,000 dedicated professionals who provide drinking water, wastewater and other related services to approximately 15 million people in 32 states and Ontario, Canada.
Asian Pacific Islander Organization
-- The Asian Pacific Islander Organization (APIO) was established as a Professional Society of Natural Resources Conservation Service Employees. APIO promotes the belief that Asian Pacific Americans can play an invaluable role in filling a critical need for committed natural resource professionals to address the protection of our nation’s natural resources.
Automotive Hall of Fame Scholarship
-- The Automotive Hall of Fame offers scholarships to students committed to an automotive career.

Cherokee Nation Higher Education Scholarship
-- The Cherokee Nation's Higher Education Office awards scholarships to selected Cherokee Nation Tribal Members pursuing degrees at a college. Purpose: The purpose of the Cherokee Nation Higher Education Program includes accomplishing three desired outcomes: 1) strengthen the sovereignty of the Cherokee Nation; 2) increase the capacity of its citizens; and 3) promote the language and culture of the Cherokee Nation. The scholarship selection process is designed to achieve these outcomes.
Christopher Mesi Memorial Music Scholarship
-- This scholarship was established in January 1997 in the memory of Christopher James Mesi, who passed away on July 11, 1996 at age 22 months, due to health complications stemming from a rare respiratory condition known as “Tracheal Rings.” Funds continue to be raised to promote the life and growth of this scholarship and its contribution to the field of music.
Collegiate Inventors Competition
-- Introduced in 1990, the Collegiate Inventors Competition has recognized, rewarded and encouraged hundreds of students to share their inventive ideas with the world. The Competition promotes exploration in invention, science, engineering, technology, and other creative endeavors and provides a window on the technologies from which society will benefit in the future.
Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Scholarship Award
-- The mission of CHCI Scholarship Program is to provide critical financial assistance that will increase graduation rates among Latino students in post-secondary education.
General Electric LULAC Scholarship
-- Established in 1975 through the collaborative efforts of LNESC, LULAC Councils and corporate partners, the LNSF was created to recognize and award the academic achievements of Hispanic students by providing direct financial support to students pursuing a post secondary degree.
Gold Standard Scholarship Program
-- The Thurgood Marshall College Fund, National Basketball Association, and Bacardi Gold have teamed up to provide financial assistance to outstanding male and female African American students. In addition to excelling in the classroom, these individuals are leaders in the community who exemplify the values of volunteerism and service.
Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber Scholarship
-- Since 1994, we have provided a vital forum for the Hispanic business community to share ideas, concerns and successes. As local community leaders and Hispanic Chamber members come together, they build partnerships that allow Hispanic businesses and other members of the community to better understand the contribution that each one makes to the growth and development in Oregon and southwest Washington.
Hispanic Scholarship Fund General College Scholarship
-- The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) is the nation's preeminent organization supporting Hispanic higher education. HSF's vision is to strengthen the country by advancing college education among Hispanic Americans. In support of its mission to double the rate of Hispanics earning college degrees, HSF provides the Latino community more college scholarships and educational outreach support than any other organization in the country.
Howard Vollum American Indian Scholarship Fund
-- Mr. Vollum was known for his work on the development of the cathode-ray oscilloscope. He and his wife Jean became two of Oregon’s most generous philanthropists, a practice she continued after his death in 1986. Jean Vollum established the Howard Vollum Scholarship in 1992, in memory of her husband. Scholarships are awarded to American Indian residents of Clackamas, Multnomah, or Washington counties in Oregon, or Clark County in Washington, for use in the pursuit of an undergraduate degree in science, computer science, engineering or mathematics.
Japanese American Citizen League

National Association of Black Journalist Scholarship
-- NABJ awards more than $60,000 in scholarships annually to deserving students interested in pursuing careers in journalism. Scholarships are open to any foreign or American born student, currently attending or entering an accredited four-year college/university in the U.S. or those who are candidates for graduate school.
Oregon Association of Public Accountants Scholarship
-- The Oregon Association of Independent Accountants was formed in 1946, as the "Oregon Association of Public Accountants". Our name was changed in January 1991 to reflect a broader scope and the diversity of the organization's membership. The OAIA is an organization of tax professionals in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. We are an affiliate of the National Society of Accountants.
Organization of Chinese Americans
-- For over 10 years, OCA has provided assistance to deserving APA students to achieve the dream of a college education. OCA recognizes the lack of resources and access to quality education for underserved APA students.
Osage Tribal Education Committee Scholarship
-- The Osage Education Department is a tribal and federal funded program. The Osage Nation Education Department’s programs are titled the Classroom Training Program, the Summer Youth Program, the Scholarship Program, and Youth Education Services and also include Supportive Services, Career Services, Work Experience, Tutoring, Internship Program, Osage Curriculum, and Special Projects for Youth.
PSU - Anne P. Myers History Scholarship
-- Students of history, through investigation of the past, gain skills and perspectives that foster a better understanding of the world and their place in it. The study of history contributes to the goals of a liberal arts education by enabling students to gain a deep appreciation of the diversity of human experience over time. Through the study of history, students learn how to interpret their own experience and to shape their own values by engaging in dialogues with the past.
-- History provides the foundation for informed participation in both the local and the global community by teaching how to apply critical thinking skills to solving problems. The study of history offers excellent training for a variety of occupations, from teaching to law, government, business, and the arts.
PSU - Caribbean Studies Scholarship
-- The department of Black Studies is devoted to the exploration and analysis of the history, politics, and culture of African people in the United States, the Caribbean, and Africa. The objectives of the department include providing comprehensive learning programs aimed at greater understanding by all people of the black experience, past, present, and future.
PSU - D. Paul Fansler Memorial Scholarship
-- The Confucius Institute at PSU promotes educational exchange and cooperation between the US and the People’s Republic of China. The China National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (HanBan) and PSU’s Office of International Affairs jointly established the Confucius Institute as a non-degree granting entity in 2007. Hanban also provides support for community outreach and development of non-degree programs related to China and Chinese language studies.
PSU - Daniel Scheans Scholarship
--Anthropology studies human biological and cultural diversity through time and space and the interplay between culture and biology. Anthropologists apply the knowledge gained from diverse theoretical perspectives to practical human and cultural resource management, among others. As scholars, we are committed to the highest quality teaching in the classroom and the field; to ongoing research both in Portland and abroad; and to active engagement in wider university and community programs.

PSU - Lancy C. Jen Endowed Scholarship
-- The field of Women's Studies originated as an interdisciplinary effort to uncover women's experience past and present. Today, the field focuses on gender as a category of analysis and explores the impact of gender on all areas of social life. Although feminist scholarship is diverse in terms of methods and theoretical frameworks, its common basis lies in this focus on gender difference and issues of inequality organized around gender.
PSU - Meg Eileenchild O'Hara Scholarship
-- The field of Women's Studies originated as an interdisciplinary effort to uncover women's experience past and present. Although feminist scholarship is diverse in terms of methods and theoretical frameworks, its common basis lies in this focus on gender difference and issues of inequality organized around gender.
-- The biology department takes an integrative approach to biology, encompassing all levels of biological organization from molecules and ecosystems. Teaching and research laboratories are further supported by the Herbarium, Invertebrate and Vertebrate Museums, extremophile DNA and microbial culture collections, an aquatic organism rearing facility, greenhouses and an electron microscope facility.
PSU - Robert W. Rempfer Scholarship
-- The Fariborz Maseeh Department of Mathematics and Statistics is dedicated to excellence in research and teaching in all areas of mathematics, statistics, and mathematics education. Guided by the mission of Portland State University and by the principles of disciplinary excellence and cross-disciplinary engagement, we are particularly committed to building expertise and providing leadership in applied and computational mathematics and statics.

South Asian Jornalists Association
-- SAJA’s mission includes acting as a resource to facilitate and promote thorough, accurate coverage of South Asia and the South Asian diaspora, including South Asians in North America. This includes coverage of media freedom and censorship issues affecting South Asian communities. In order to fulfill this goal, SAJA provides scholarships for students interested in a journalism career.

Our goal is to bring all Asian communities together and create celebrations that represent all the diversity of our cultures.
The Gates Millennium Scholars Program
-- The Foundation seeks to increase the number of African Americans, American Indians/Alaska Natives, Asian & Pacific Islander Americans, and Hispanic Americans enrolling in and completing undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The goal is to promote academic excellence and to provide an opportunity for thousands of outstanding students to reach their fullest potential.
The LIfe and Health Insurance Foundation for education (LIFE) Scholarship

William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship for Minority Students
-- The Hearst Fellow serves as an intern with PSI. Through this fellowship, PSI seeks to introduce a diverse group of students to issues and challenges affecting philanthropy, social enterprise, nonprofit organizations, and other actors in the social sector. Recipients may arrange with their colleges or universities to receive academic credit for this experience.
WTS Portland Chapter Scholarship

Xerox Technical Minority Scholarship
