Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA) "promotes higher education, cultura, y historia. MEChA was founded on the principles of self-determination for the liberation of our people. We believe that political involvement and education is the avenue for change in our society."

Our purpose is to address the needs of Chicano/Latina women on campus and the community. We strive to promote strength and unity for all women, work to achieve better experiences and opportunities. We work with other student and service groups to promote awareness on campus and in the community.
