The Multicultural Student Center (MCC) at Portland State University explores our intersectional identities and seeks to develop cultural competency through student engagement, programming, and meaningful dialogue.
The MCC started as an idea by a group of Portland State University students proposed in 1991. The MCC has existed in various forms since 1992. With its current location at Smith Memorial Student Union (S.M.S.U.) 228, it marks over 24 years of service to the Portland State campus community.
The MCC provides a forum for collaborative cultural, education, and social experiences at Portland State University and beyond.
