Mary King and Jack Corbett lecture on Mexican migration to Oregon
Mary King, Economics faculty, and Jack Corbett, Public Administration faculty, lectured on Mexican migration to Oregon to more than 150 academics and government officials in Oaxaca, Mexico, Feb. 11. King presented the results of recent research on Mexican immigrants in Portland by faculty and students, while Corbett addressed long-term social and political trends shaping alternative futures for the migrant flow. The lectures attracted television and front-page newspaper coverage. |
