Portland State was recognized for it extraordinary contributions to service in the community through the 2007 President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. Last week, six Oregon institutions were named, but only PSU made the "honor roll with distinction." read more >
The final work of the late Philip Metcalfe, an acclaimed Portland author and PSU alumnus, will make its debut Feb. 21 with a program of dramatic readings sponsored by PSU's Friends of History at 7:30 p.m. in 294 Smith Union. More than 500 middle and high school students from Oregon and Southwest Washington will compete in Portland State's 2008 Engineering Design Competition Friday,
Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the small gymnasium of the Peter Stott Center. An awards ceremony is planned at 2 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science. read more >
