Portland State University commemorates the Lincoln Bientennial with a full week of events including keynote lecture, readings, movies and a candlelight vigil.
The PSU Friends of History is presenting a full week of events starting February 9th to kick off a state-wide celebration of the Bicentennial of Abraham Lincolns birthday. All events are taking place in the PSU HIstory Department in Cramer Hall (1721 SW Broadway) unless otherwise noted and are free and open to the PSU community and the public.

The Friends of History is presenting this Lincoln Birthday BicentennialWeek as part of the events planned with the Oregon Lincoln BicentennialCommission. The OLBC is located on the PSU campus and is headed by PSUVice Provost MIke Burton. Several OLBC commissioners are from PSUincluding Professors Tony Wolk and Chet Orloff, Friends of HistoryPresident K.C. Piccard-Krone, FOH board members Elliott Trommald andWilliam Stack, and PSU staffers Jodie and John McLean.
