Search renewed for Vice Provost for Student Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs is contracting with Executive Leadership Solutions to assist in a renewed search for the position of Vice Provost for Student Affairs. The original search, begun in June 2006, was suspended in December when a successful candidate was not identified. In the interim, Dan Fortmiller has served as vice provost. read more >

Lecture on history of wilderness preservation in Oregon

"The Paved Road to Wilderness Preservation: Class, Nature and Leisure in Pre-New Deal Oregon" is a free lecture presented by the Friends of History Thursday, May 10, at 7:30 p.m. in 238 Smith Union. Art catalog dedicated in librarian's memory

The PSU Library is adding Picasso: Guernica, a valuable out-of-print art catalog to its special collections in memory of Janet Wright, a librarian from 1986 to 2002. Wright, arts and humanities librarian and professor emerita, passed away on March 7 after a long battle with breast cancer. read more >

Viking Golf Scramble on May 21

The 22nd annual Viking Scholarship Scramble is scheduled for Monday, May 21, from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Langdon Farms Golf Club in Aurora. The fundraising event, sponsored by the Viking Backers, includes a continental breakfast, lunch, tee and raffle prizes, an live auction, and contests on the course.
