THE LAST CURRENTLY for fall term will be published electronically Wednesday, November 28. Deadline for that issue is Wednesday noon, November 21. Currently will resume weekly publication the week of January 7.

Visit FADM Fair today in Smith Ballroom

All Finance and Administration offices will showcase their services today, Nov. 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Smith Union Ballroom. Every office will have a "booth," of sorts, and the event will include food, fun activities, and give-aways.

New degrees approved

The State Board of Higher Education recently approved bachelor's degrees in social work and arts studies at Portland State. The baccalaureate in social work, effective immediately, will be the only one offered by a public university in the state. The art studies degree, effective winter term, will provide an undergraduate degree option for potential elementary school teachers. read more >

Portland State music groups to perform

The Portland State Chamber Choir will sing "From Cradle to Grave" Tuesday, Nov. 20, 8 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Cathedral, 1716 NW Davis Street. The Portland State Wind Ensemble and Concert Band are slated to perform Thursday, Nov. 29, at noon in 175 Lincoln Hall. read more >
