Through the generosity of alumni and in support of deserving future community leaders, the College of Urban and Public Affairs (CUPA) is pleased to be able to award both merit-based and need-based scholarships to its undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and international students.
A word to the wise — as with any type of financial award, competition is high. We strongly encourage you to make note of the following scholarship application dates:
October 15, 2014 - Undergraduate & graduate scholarship applications open
February 1, 2015 at 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST) - Undergraduate & graduate scholarship application deadline
If you are not yet accepted into a program in the College of Urban and Public Affairs, but you have submitted an application, you are still eligible to apply for our scholarships. As scholarship application deadlines often pass before departments have finalized their admissions, it’s important to apply for scholarships even if your program application is still pending. In many cases, the deadlines for scholarship applications occur prior to the departments’ decisions regarding student acceptance. This means that if you wait to find out if you were accepted into your program, the chance to apply for scholarship support may have already passed.
