Developing Community Valued Destinations and Character on SE Division Street

Regional policy advocates focusing development into existing centers and main streets. This development has both positive and negative effects on these areas. Southeast Division is a budding main street in Portland's inner eastside. The Division Vision Coalition (DVC) has formed to help the community become more proactive in shaping the development that occurs on their main street.

GNT Planning, a Portland State Workshop Team, has aligned with DVC to explore what community valued destinations exist on the street and recommend ways to preserve and attract these types of places. Sound interesting...? If so, then come to GNT's university presentation and hear about what they found.

Team Members: Josh Birks, Jeff Caudill, John Mermin, Ken Radin, Quinn Fahey.
