Gerard Mildner, Business Administration faculty, co-edited a book, Sport and Public Policy: Social, Political, and Economic Perspectives, Human Kinetics Press, 2010. He also co-authored and authored the chapters "Cooperation Amidst Competition: The Nature of Sport Leagues" and "Beyond the Major Leagues: Lessons from the Organization of International Sport."

Rik Lemoncello, Speech and Hearing Sciences faculty, was first author on two companion articles published in the interdisciplinary journal, Brain Injury, 2010, Vol. 24(3). The articles are titled "How Best to Orient Travellers with Acquired Brain Injury: A Comparison of Three Directional Prompts" and "When Directions Fail: Investigation of Getting Lost Behavior in Adults with Acquired Brain Injury."

01 Mar 2010 Steve Johnson receives Fulbright to teach and collaborate in Thailand
Steve Johnson, Urban Studies and Planning adjunct faculty, received a Fulbright Scholars Award for fall 2010. He will be a distinguished visiting professor at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. He will be teaching the courses Public Participation in a Democratic State: Theory and Techniques for Constructive Collaboration and Public Participation and Sustainable Community Development. He will also be working with NGO partners, including the Thailand Environmental Institute and the National Municipal League of Thailand, on sustainable community development projects around the country.

G.L.A. Harris, Public Administration faculty, was appointed to the Oregon Legislative Task Force on Women Veterans' Health Care. Harris is currently a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and previously served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force.
