Event: Look UP and See Green open house

November 12, 2009 Starts: 4:00pm Ends: 6:00pm

WHAT: The Look UP and See Green team would like to invite the campus community to the terrace for an open house where we will be compiling ideas for the 2009-10 projects.   Come join us for food and music and contribute your visions of both PSU and the future of this space.   

Look UP and See Green is a student driven, collaborative initiative tolead the Portland Metropolitan Region in sustainability.  Last year,this project created a sustainable, community gathering place on the4th floor of the Urban Center Building by bringing together studentgroups and local professionals to implement ideas of rainwatercollection strategies, utilization of our rooftops for growing food anda university wide discussion on sustainability initiatives.  As thepotential of creating an Ecological District on campus gains momentumthe Urban Terrace presents a community gathering place and exhibitionspace for student led sustainability projects for all of PSU.

WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 12, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
