Funding Opportunities

Portland State University is seeking donors at multiple funding levels to invest in start-up and transformational funding for the SUCCESS Initiative.

How you can help us achieve success

  • A gift of $1,000 per year will provide scholarships for teacher candidates to assure diversity in new teachers entering the workforce. (Target Goal: $100,000)
  • A gift of $10,000 per year for three years will support one teaching and learning team (Target Goal: $100,000)
  • A gift of $30,000 per year for three years will support a Metro Partnership workgroup (Target Goal: $120,000)
  • A gift of $50,000 per year for five years will support one graduate researcher for Cradle to Career (Target Goal: $200,000)
  • A gift of $100,000 per year for five years will support faculty PK-12 school and community agency partnerships working toward success of students from birth through graduation, sample project areas include STEM and the Center for Interdisciplinary Mentoring Research. (Target Goal: $500,000)
  • A gift of $250,000 will establish an Equal Access to Education scholarship fund to help students most in need complete college (Target Goal: $1 million)
  • A gift of $1.5 million will endow a leadership position in the Educational Research Center or Regional Research Institute (Target Goal: $3 million)
