This brand-new residence comes with all the latest contemporary accomodations ideal for prgressive tastes. Featuring 384 studio apartments, the Broadway has space to lounge in and classrooms to study in. There's also an up-to-the-minute computer lab to meet your cyber needs.
 Our newest addition to
campus, the Broadway opened in Fall 2004. 383
studio apartments make up this 10-story hall. The Broadway
is LEEDS Certified, which recognizes that it was built and is maintained with
environmentally-friendly practices. The first floor is made up of retail
space. The second floor has classrooms,
a student computer lab and the Housing and Residence Life offices. The Broadway has the largest eco-roof in the Portland. An eco-roof reduces stormwater runoff, one of the main contributors to urban water pollution. As rain runs off roofs and into our waterways, it takes with it sediment, metals, oil, grease, bacteria and chemicals that threaten water quality. An eco-roof partially absorbs storm water for the ecosystem on the roof and releases water, as evaporation, when appropriate, eliminating stormwater runoff. In addition, the eco-roof provides natural insulation to the building, reducing energy needed for heating and cooling. What's Inside
