Meet Fenuinui 'Bruce' Leomiti

Bruce Leomiti is an undergraduate student who studies Biology at Portland State University. Fascinated by science throughout his formulative years, he enjoys learning new things. He finds it easy to stay engaged in science because it is fun, informative, and at times gross.

Coming to PSU on a diversity recognition scholarship, he has enjoyed the campus’s unique and diverse atmosphere. He has taken this opportunity to become a student leader in several organizations developing the skills needed to run campaigns. His involvement in groups includes: The Pacific Islander Club, The Orientation Team, The Vietnamese Student Association, Steps of Rhythm and Dance, and ASPSU as a senator.

Born in Lubbock, Texas, he has moved all around the county, coming to PSU as a freshman. He loves to eat, play sports, dance and listen to music. He also enjoys watching movies, of which one of his favorites is Lilo and Stitch. In between his hobbies and many responsibilities he works hard on his ultimate goal - graduating.
