If your department previously established a
list of essential functions and staffing, please take this opportunity
to review and update those documents. It is strongly recommended that
you review the Continuation of Operations Plan (COOP)
worksheets, as they are helpful in identifying functions regardless of
individual responsibility.
The worksheets walk you through the steps to
establish processes to continue essential business functions during
times of emergency. If your department has not previously identified
essential business functions and back-up personnel, please complete the
Continuation of Operations Plan (COOP) worksheets at this time, keep a
copy on file for your department, and submit an electronic version to
our Emergency Management Coordinator, Bryant Haley at bhaley@pdx.edu by
June 15, 2009.
