News: Faculty Senate election results

Elections for most of the 2008-09 Faculty Senate positions recently concluded, except for runoffs in two units. The senate will be comprised of 111 voting members, an increase of three members from last year.
The new elected members are All Others: Liane Gough, Steven Harmon, Tabitha Whitefoot, Kimberly Hottel, Lissa Kaufman, Louise Paradis, Tim Hagge, Rebecca Ingersoll, Robyn Pierce, April Turner, Natalee Webb, Jennifer Welnick, Denise Wendler; Business Administration: Alan Cabelly, Alan Daniel Rogers; Education: Rosalyn McKeown-Ice; Engineering and Computer Science: Branimir Pejcinovic.
Also elected to the Faculty Senate are Fine and Performing Arts: Charles Gray, Bradley Hansen; Library: Graham Howard; Liberal Arts and Sciences: Duncan Carter, Linda George, Maude Hines, Thomas Luckett, Lorraine Mercer, John Rueter, Tom Seppalainen, Gwendolyn Shusterman, Carl Wamser; Social Work: Thomas Keller, Laura Nissen; Urban and Public Affairs: David Kinsella, Margaret Neal
A runoff is in progress for two Liberal Arts and Sciences positions and the two Other Instructional positions.
