If you see crime occurring on campus and you would like to report it,please fill out the Anonymous Report Form. Information submitted via this form isonly reviewed by the Public Safety Office during regular businesshours. If you have information which requires an urgent response,please call ext. 5-4404 on campus or in an emergency 9-911.
If you are the victim of a crime and do not want to pursue actionwithin the University System or the criminal justice system, you maystill want to consider making a confidential report. With yourpermission, the Public Safety Office or a University Official can filea report on the details of the incident without revealing youridentity.
The purpose of a confidential report is to comply with yourwish to keep the matter confidential, while taking steps to ensure thefuture safety of yourself and others. With such information, theUniversity can keep accurate records of the number of incidentsinvolving students, determine where there is a pattern of crime withregard to a particular location, method, or assailant, and alert thecampus community to potential danger. Reports filed in this manner arecounted and disclosed in the annual crimes statistics for theinstitution.
