FAQ: How and when do I get my advance payment refund if I've canceled my contract?

If you are eligible to receive a refund of your Advance Payment (see contract Terms & Conditions), this refund will be posted to your student account when your cancellation request is processed and a refund has been granted. Please note that you will only receive a refund if no other charges are applied to your student account. If other charges exist on your student account when the University Housing Office refunds your money, that money will automatically be used to pay off the remaining charges.

There are three refund choices: 1) the refund goes on your student HigherOne card, 2) direct deposit to the bank of your choice or 3) paper check delivered to your address registered with www.banweb.pdx.edu.

NOTE: PSU does not mail checks to overseas addresses. Please speak with a Cashier representative about your options.
