International Visiting Scholars
Every year, Portland State University hosts over 300 visiting international scholars and faculty from all over the world. These visitors engage in teaching, research, and other academic activities with PSU faculty and students. PSU academic departments, such as the Mark O. Hatfield School of Government, welcome visiting scholars to share their knowledge and international perspectives on a wide range of subjects.
The Center for Public Service invites 5-10 of these scholars to access and add to our programs. The latest cohort of international scholars has brought a diverse range of professional experience and research interests. Hailing from Japan, China, and the Republic of Korea, these public service professionals are helping build international relations with Portland State while accumulating important research for their home institutions and departments.
The Center for Public Service would like to thank the entire International Scholars cohort for their important contributions to the realm of public administration. We look forward to further collaboration in the future!
