Dr. Len Clark

Dr. Len Clark has over 25 years of public safety experience in a variety of career and volunteer positions.  For the past 17 years, his career has been focused on emergency management at the local and federal arenas.  Currently, Dr. Clark serves as the chief emergency management official for a county in NJ and as the department's executive officer.  His disaster experience includes the management of over two dozen federallly declared disasters and numerous undeclared emergencies.   Dr. Clark served as a Coast Guard Reserve officer and deployed to NYC for the 9/11attacks and Guantanamo Bay, CU as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Dr. Clark earned a Doctor of Public Administration degree from the University of Baltimore.  His dissertaton conducted the first statewide study of the implementation of the National Incident Management System at the local government level.  Dr. Clark lives in NJ with his spouse of 18 years and their six children.
