Current Large Construction Projects:
Campus Steam & Chilled Water Loop Phase II
Campus Loop Phase II creates a continuous steam and chilled water loop throughout the Park Blocks with the addition of tunnels connecting Millar Library to Science Building 2 and Shattuck Hall. Steam and chilled water are used to heat and cool our large campus buildings. This “loop” will result in considerable operational, maintenance and energy savings by consolidating boilers and chillers in central plants and enables the University’s most energy efficient equipment to be shared with multiple buildings.
Blumel Hall Remodel
The upgrade will re-pipe the domestic water line, replace the roof, the roof top HVAC units, install new fire alarm panel, install energy efficient lighting in the units, improve parking lighting, update the room finishes and other enhancements.
