CP&C Director, Ron Blaj
Ron Blaj joined PSU in January 2011, after having served from late 2008 through 2010 as consultant Project Manager on PSU's Lincoln Hall Seismic & Systems Upgrade. In his current capacity, Ron & his Team are responsible for all project & construction management activities on capital projects at PSU, from concept & early budgeting, through design, construction, & occupancy. He manages a Staff of 20 architects, engineers, project managers, administrators, temporary employees, & students as well as the 20 employee PSU In-House Alterations & Construction team. He enjoys working with his highly-skilled, competent, & energetic Team.
Ron came to PSU after a diverse career, working first for a large Engineering & Construction firm, as a Construction Management Consultant, as Operations Manager for a Mechanical Contractor, & as Senior Project Manager for a local Project Management Consulting firm. He has had the opportunity to work on many types of projects, in both the public & private sector. He is a registered Professional Engineer, with a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Davis & an MS in Construction Engineering & Management from Stanford University.
