PSU Latin Night 2014
Author: Las Mujeres
Posted: January 8, 2014

You are cordially invited to join us this Friday, Jan 10th at 5pm in the PSU Smith Ballroom for this year's Latin Night/Noche Latina

With over 500 attendees last year, this event was inaugurated to highlight the PSU Latino/a community while at the same time presenting an opportunity to welcome the public, families and community partners. Latin Night's goals are to educate on the true diversity of Latin American/Hispanic culture, welcome and embrace communities of color as an institution of higher learning, and to support local Latino-owned small businesses (which includes food cart owners, artists, and entertainers), thus why the event is intentionally held in Winter.

This year's event will have Colombian, Mexican and Brazilian catering, a local Latino Art Collective Exhibit, educational partners, and a dynamic entertainment program comprised of award-winning traditional Mexican dance, Afro-Latino Samba, Peruvian music & dance, and a live Cuban Band!

Tickets are $7 for the public, FREE for children/teens under 17 and FREE to PSU Students/Faculty and Staff.
All tickets must be registered through the PSU Box Office (a limited number of tickets will be sold at the door).

Please share with your colleagues, family, friends and networks. We look forward to seeing you!
